2012 Aston Martin Virage Price and Specs

Well the new Aston Martin Virage is in my eyes just an AM DB9 with new bumpers and Rapide headlights...or is it?





Nope I'm wrong, this car is a mix between the DB9 and a DBS, Aston Martin wanted to make a car that can fit between those two models. The DB9 is just a simple unagressive supercar but the DBS is the angry AM you can get. So Aston Martin decided to make a car that is comfortable as a DB9 but still got some angry feelings like in the DBS. And from this idea they made the Virage.

Ok now you understand why they have made this car I'll get you know more about the design and performace of this car.

The design is slightly better than a DB9 but not as good as the DBS wich is good if you don't want that much attention as in a DBS. The interior is good AM looking aswell not a big difference than other AM cars.

The performance is a bit more interesting. This car has 6.0 liter V12 engine that produces 490 hp and 570 Nm (420 lb. Ft) of torque. A 0-60 time is in 4.6 seconds and will reach a top speed of 186 mph.

The price for this beauty is $210 000, this is $20 000 more than a DB9 but $55 0000 less than a DBS. I think some other models in the future would fill this gap....do I hear the name Virage S?
